Water Wonders Mini Moonshadow with LED Light

Lights stopped working after about a total of 24 hours of intermittent operation. After 4 attempts of trying to get the stone to stay in the middle of the curved bar I gave up, so wasn't centered which caused water to splash out on wall. So moved it out on the deck, but I bought to enjoy in my kitchen.....While cleaning, the soldered curved arm just broke off the dish that holds the rocks, You are done, in the trash with ya!

I saw 10 mostly positive reviews for this fountain and it seemed like it'd be a nice peaceful addition to my otherwise stressful IT office. I was wary though based on price and limited selection on Amazon.Finally get the thing in the mail, and initially have a tough time assembling it. I call BluWorld to get help, the operator connects me to a voicemail. I wait a few days, don't get a call back. Finally I call back again, this time getting ahold of a helpful employee, Stewart. He explains one of the pieces wasn't in the box (the velcro strap to hold the stone), but ships one to me. At first glance, the entire setup looks fairly cheap, and the assembly isn't very sturdy. Not the kind of "Chi" I was looking for.I get it all assembled, turn it on. The water doesn't spray around like others said, but it doesn't fall evenly over the stone and looks really cheap. The pump is loud, loud enough that it disrupts the sound of the water trickle. And due to the fact that this thing is a huge contraption, I'm doubtful I could get a return.Don't waste your money or your time, one of the worst purchases I've made

I've had this fountain for several months now. Yesterday I finally had to stop using it. I found a huge puddle on the floor under it. The water coming out of the tube was no longer running down straight. In a couple of places the water was actually flowing out at an angle past the base itself. Also when it is put together, it is very unwieldy and it's hard to empty the water. It looks very nice though but I do agree with the other reviewer that the slate and the rocks do tend to have a slimy feel to them. The base itself is just painted metal.

I purchased this 11/08 and immediately called the manufacturer Bluworld as I thought the product was copper and they said it was lightweight copper. The bowl is lightweight tin and the finish is already starting to bubble off. All they will do is replace pieces. They refuse a refund as well as Kinetic Fountains where I purchased it because the defects were found after 3o days.I also has slime build up while using recommended products to prevent it.Avoid at all costs!!!!
