This camera fits exactly our needs, which is to check it on our cell phones while we are away from home. However, if you want a security system to monitor 24/7 with a split screen showing all cameras at once, this is not for you. We chose this camera because it has audio, clear picture quality, live monitoring (one camera at a time) and no monthly fee required to have a cloud service (stores for free for last 24 hours). I did not want to have a DVR in the house and have the extra hassle of setting it up with wires and having a unit that someone could steal with the video recordings.Installation is easy, it plugs into an outlet. We hired someone to secure the unit (three screws into our exterior stucco) and one hole for the wire to go through the wall into our garage. We already had an outlet close by so we simply had to buy an extension cord from the outlet to the unit.When you install the camera, make sure you have already downloaded the app and set up the camera. This way you can see the live picture before you permanently mount the unit.As for motion sensitivity, I get false alarms at night due to the light on the camera which can attract bugs. During the day however I get few false alarms since the view is mostly hardscape and doesn't capture branches swaying, etc. Our side camera has a wider view angle (we set it back further and includes more street/ front side yard) so we get more there - you can adjust the motion sensitivity for smaller movements however. The camera will automatically record these but you don't need to hassle yourself with deleting them from the storage since it only saves for 24 hours. The camera runs on the iSecurity + app.The phone app is useful for live monitoring but I use my laptop if I want to see the recorded videos (which I don't usually bother with). It captures a lot of "false" motion like leaves on 7 second videos. When there's actual movement like someone coming to our door though the videos will be much longer, one was 45 seconds and you could hear every word with the audio feature.All in all this was a great buy. It's an affordable camera with free cloud storage and has audio. If you could view all cameras at once it would be terrific but then you can't beat this price and features.*********************Updated review*******************Still love this camera. We've changed wifi networks over the years and it was still just as easy to connect. I still think it's the best value for the money. I looked into Nest and they charge a monthly fee for monitoring. This camera has 24 hours free storage, which I think is sufficient time to know if the house is broken into with our alarm, or if something else happens. Nest only has 3 hours so if you want any sort of video lookback you'd have to pay for this extra charge. That makes that camera almost twice as expensive the first year, and infinitely more every other year after.

We bought this camera for our front door. After first install everything worked great and it has awesome features. It is easy to pull up recorded events on my iPhone (though if my spouse is on it with her iPhone then I get kicked off), great sound, and excellent recordings. The camera picture quality is astounding, even at night. I'm amazed by the actual camera lens. Its connectivity is #%$!. The camera connects to Wi-Fi and I have to constantly restart the camera. The picture will randomly freeze and it won't record when it freezes.Something happened in front of our house and we have no idea what went down because the camera was frozen. The camera won't tell you something is wrong, you have to figure it out by constantly checking on it. I am so upset that I spent all of this money and I can't guarantee that I will capture what I want. Our wireless easily reaches the camera and we have a new router. We don't have a freezing problem with any other electronics, just the camera. When the camera works it works great, but there has been so many times when it hasn't worked. I can't reach the camera without a ladder so I simply unplug it and plug it back in and it usually starts working again. When it works it is a great product that I highly recommend, but it freezes several times a week.

video quality during day is really good. It does not seem to have too great of vision during night. Motion sensor seems to be much more narrow then the field of view. The ease of setup was great.

The setup and installation was easy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The quality of picture and motions is clear day and nighttime. I also like the video capturing capability, the cloud storage and how I can view events from my phone. You can always go into settings and change the sensitivity of motion capturing which is nice so that it doesn't always just pick up events with lights going on and off. Otherwise, this is a sturdy and great outdoor camera.
