Hammock Ideal Black & Ecru, Large, Cotton

First, this hammock is quite pretty and VERY comfortable. However, hubby and I are hammock sleepers and have been sleeping in a slightly larger Mayan hammock together for two years now. We've lost a ton of weight and the larger one was starting to swallow us up, so decided to try something a bit smaller. This doesn't really work. It's fine for lounging together in but not sleeping. It's supposedly 7.5' wide. Unless we've somehow grown almost 2', this isn't the case. More like ~6' stretched to max at its widest point. Also, despite others saying you need a good 13' to hang... our 11'6" long stand is a bit of a stretch and the hammock hangs rather high up off the ground as a result. So, it's sort of useless for what we wanted it for. Just wanted others to know, just in case they're looking for similar reasons! It'd work great for a one-person sleeping hammock though: the thick cotton is a bit more warm than the thinner ones, but still cool for the summer... and also makes it more 'cushy' than the thinner-string ones.

First hammock bought was the Thick Cord Mayan Hammock XXL multi colored. My father really likes it, so I decided to purchase another and give him the multi colored one. Hammock arrived and the colors "black and natural" is opposite as pictured. Solid color black ends are natural. Went on website to return and it says it's not returnable. I will contact customer service in the morning.

This hammock has been hanging in my backyard for several months now, with almost daily use. It is out of direct sunlight, at least for most of the day, but it has had some fading. Overall, we love it. It's comfortable, can fit several people, and we feel safe while laying on it.

this color combination is next to impossible to find, and it is was perfect! I like that the weave of the hammock is a little tighter than our old one, and the cordage is thicker. It is perfect! Best of all, Hammock boutique is a Fair Trade company!

This is the best hammock imaginable! If you have reservations about purchasing this hammock...don't! You won't regret it. Great for indoor or outdoor use. I have received so many compliments on this hammock. Wonderful product!

Swift transaction, but I forgot to bring it in to the house, it rained and the colors bled horribly. It is no longer pretty, but it is useful.

I am so in love with this hammock. I will never buy any other type or brand of hammoc. This hammock far exceeds my expectations.

WE love it. The Hammock is very comfy and large enough for at least two people to lay comfortably.
