This is over glorified rubbing alcohol with purple dye and I can't figure out what the dye's purpose is (except to stain everything in it path purple. To top it all off it doesn't work the cats ears still stink only now their purple.

This ear cleaner worked very well on my dog. This was the first time I cleaned her ears myself, normally we take her in for a bath & she gets them cleaned. The bottle is extremely easy to use although I was a bit worried because the liquid had leaked our in the shipping process so I could see it was a purple color. I was worried if it kept leaking out after it would stain her fur or the carpet. It didn't. She never sits still for a bath, nail cutting or anything so I knew it was going to be a struggle. The liquid itself had a strong odor but was bearable. In the end she had quite a bit of gunk come out & I think she liked having her ears cleaned. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
