Removes scuffs and black heel marks and enhances floor appearance. From the Manufacturer 3M™ White Super Polish Pad 4100 is used for light cleaning under automatic scrubbers and removes soil and scuff marks with minimal dulling of finish. Uniform distribution of fine cleaning particles throughout the pad’s fibers, not just on the surface, distinguishes it from much of the competition. Durable, conformable polyester fibers provide maximum pad-to-floor contact, and open construction resists loading and clogging. The white polishing pad is available in sizes for rotary and automatic floor machines running at low speed (175-600 rpm), and used for light daily cleaning, spray buffing, and dry buffing soft finishes. This polishing pad is also used on wood floors. The pad is made of polyester fibers and synthetic adhesives and will not be significantly affected by water, detergents, and cleaners normally used for floor maintenance. The reversible pad is approximately 1 inch thick, and comes in sizes for most rotary floor machines and automatic scrubbers. For more than a century, 3M has applied innovation and technology to improving our customers’ lives and supporting their business goals. I use them with an old floor machine probably built in the 1960's. Maintaining an old Fabulon Floor from the same period or actually a little older. Vac floor, use white pads with appropriate floor wax to clean and polish, buff with floor brush, dry a bit and finish polish with a rag on the brush. End result, clean, shiny old fashioned oak wood floor. The pads, worked fine. They probably hold up for several uses each. Good nuff for me. Review: Orek Polish Pad - I struggled with my laminate flooring becoming smeary after a few years of use in a household with three cats and two greyhounds all of whom must have sticky feet. The only way I could get the floors looking decent was to handwash and hand towel them dry. I did not have the energy nor the time to do all the floors! I bought the Orek and now spray a very dilute mix of vinegar and water very lightly on the floor and use this white polish pad. It cleans them up and leaves them shiny. If I want them extra posh, I follow up with a sheepskin bonnet, but this is the cleaning pad that does the heavy lifting. At first I had to do this once a week, but now that I have the floors polished back to their original laminate minus the sticky dirt, I need only do it about once a month relying on my automatic vacuum cleaners to keep them looking good in between. ## Features - Used for light cleaning to help remove soil and scuff marks with minimal dulling of finish - Can be used to polish wood floors, spray cleaning or dry buffing soft finishes (using a rotary machine) - Made of polyester fibers in an open textured non-woven construction - Polishing particles are dispersed throughout and bonded to the non-woven construction with a durable adhesive ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005AX13NA | | Best Sellers Rank | #49,176 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #2 in Floor Buffers & Parts | | Brand | 3M | | Brand Name | 3M | | Compatible Material | Wood | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,066 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 50048011084805 | | Grit Material | Polyester | | Grit Material Type | Polyester | | Grit Number | 4000 | | Grit Type | Fine | | Included Components | Super Polish Floor Pad | | Item Diameter | 16 inches | | Item Dimensions | 16.4 x 5.8 x 16.7 inches | | Item Highlight | Polish Wood Floors, Spray Cleaning or Dry Buffing Soft Finishes | | Item Weight | 1.6 pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 16.4 x 5.8 x 16.7 inches | | Manufacturer | 3M | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model | 4100 | | Number of Items | 5 | | Part Number | 048011084805 | | Set Name | 1 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Polyester - **Grit Material:** Polyester - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 16.4 x 5.8 x 16.7 inches - **Brand:** 3M - **Grit Type:** Fine ## Images ![3M White Super Polish Floor Pad 4100, 16", 5/Case | Polish Wood Floors, Spray... - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51rAfoCXo-L.jpg) ![3M White Super Polish Floor Pad 4100, 16", 5/Case | Polish Wood Floors, Spray... - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41TPbZDqEWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I am planning to use this as a prop in a children's museum. When the product arrives is the center of the pad present?** A: Yes, but it can be removed. **Q: Is this good for hardwood floors? Will it scratch my floor?** A: No. Its a buffing pad. its great to cut it up into pieces and use it in 3in by 3 inch squares to buff/clean many surfaces from stainless steel, to glass, porcelain, wood, vinyl floors and it wont scratch. the best non scratch abrasive pad out there. soak with bon ami and water and nothing cleans filthy sinks/tubs better. **Q: What s the best buffing pad for linolium tile** A: No you can not use for linoleum **Q: Can this be used on travertine floors?** A: Yes.... I use it on my travertine floors and have no issues. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ White Machine Polishing Pads Polish Pleasantly *by T***D on July 2, 2025* Price was ok.
