The other product was on backorder, so I tried this because I could get it overnight and it arrived just in time for the 100 degree heatwave in April. So the "bad": He drank an absolute ton. If I had not been checking his water three times a day he would have been out twice. The "good": He wasn't overly sweaty, wasn't panting, and liked the taste WAY better than the other powder. I sampled it b/c I wont' give my horses what I haven't at least tested and spat out, and it actually wasn't bad at all (don't use this as your electrolyte powder please)--it was definitely like a green apple taste/smell. It worked great, and I've continued it thorugh the summer at half the recommended dose.
