True doesn't stand by its products
The media could not be loaded. I have the same issues as the other reviewer explained. I bought this treadmill in May last year and started having problems with the machine displaying contradictory messages and not stopping when I paused it. Very dangerous! For 6 months I tried to get the problem resolved and the local dealer tried very hard to help me out. They installed 4 new boards/consoles that True sent them assuring them that the problem was fixed. It wasn't. With every new console the problem surfaced again putting me in potential danger.Last Friday thinking that the problem had been solved, I paused the machine and was about to jump out to answer the phone when I felt the belt was still moving. By chance I was still holding to the rail and was able to start running and catching up with the machine. I didn't fall by pure miracle but my right knee got twisted. I told the dealer I couldn't't risk my health any longer with True and that the company had sold me an unsafe product knowingly. True refused to give me my money back and did not stand by their product or their proclaimed safety of their equipment. I recommend never to buy any True product as the company is totally irresponsible, does not care about the consequences for their customers from using their unsafe products they are continuing to sell. I gave them 1 star just to make sure people would read my review because I want to protect them from a potential accident from True treadmills that may endanger their health. True deserves O stars.

Two treadmills, two technical issues and I have a four thousand dollar treadmill that fails regularly. It's dangerous.
Note: I purchased this from a local dealer.Received my $4k treadmill in Feb. Screen was acting crazy and popping up different windows and shifting modes. It would drop down to 4mph, then up to 8mph randomly. then the incline window would pop up out of nowhere. They replaced the console. Same thing occurred. Everyone at the dealer said they've 'never' heard of this before. They replaced the whole treadmill (which I appreciated). Got it last week. Had the same pop up error once, so tried a few things (leaving it on all the time, adding surge protector). Today the treadmill wouldn't start because the error said ' belt over speed'. I had to shut down and restart. Two lemons, or poor design/manufacturing?Kicker is that the dealer told me he thought it was due to sweat on the console! I don't sweat that much (I mostly walk), AND... it's a TREADMILL!

True fitness does not Honor the treadmill warranty
True fitness is a diabolical company they don’t care about the customers I’ve had a problem with my treadmill and they made it a very difficult experience and a very expensive experience they wanted me to pay shipping of old parts to them and for new parts to meThey also said because my treadmill is old they may not have parts so I may be wasting my money on shipping and labor and that they would give me $225 to buy out my warrantyI believe true fitness is a disgusting company and you should stay far away from them I do believe at one time they were good but now they’re not there cruel insensitive greedy underhanded. They also went out of their way to put out a updated memo stated a week after I put in my claim that this is the practice to Give a small amount of money to buy out the warranty this is something that they created right after my claim.
