TRUE Fitness M30 Treadmill

Quiet treadmill, very stable and solid feeling at all walking speeds and inclines. I’ve had this for a year and think it is a proper value. I tried many other similar and lower price machines - this is the most stable feeling, perhaps because it is non-folding. I was surprised how easily the service/delivery people set it up (bought locally from authorized dealer). It is on the small side for belt width and length, but since I only use it at walking speeds it’s totally fine for me (5’10” 190 pounds). I could see where a bigger person might want a wider machine.Nitpicks are the loud beeps at each and every speed and incline change, somewhat awkward ledge and bin for phone/tablet and cup holders, and very basic preset routines. It meets my needs and has retained its solid stability and motor/belt quietness.

We’ve had for 5 years with no major issues. The screen had to be replaced but was 100% covered by warranty and has worked perfectly since.

Owned a True Model 550 for 10 years without any issues; this new True M30 failed on the second day. Service was called and I've been waiting two weeks for a belt that may or may not fix the problem.The M30 is also much noisier than my old 550, the belt makes scratching noises and the entire motor train is "whining" much more loudly.The user interface is simpler, but in my opinion harder to use than the old style.

I bought the M50, which is the same treadmill with a slightly fancier belt. Awful machine. The entire treadmill shakes if one even walks on it. The repairman, who was here today, told me that, with this treadmill, that is normal, and that the only time it does not shake when operating is if it is running but no one is on it. Hard to believe, but true. Buy something else.

We bought this 3 months ago and it works great. It is completely quiet which is a big plus. The compact width works for our space. I didn’t give 5 stars because I wish it had a fan.
