MANA by Dr. Emil Nutrition BCAA Powder - Fruit Punch Branched Chain Amino Acids for Endurance, Hydration and Post-Workout Recovery, 30 Servings

I use BCAA's usually after my workout. There are plenty of post-workout recovery powders on the market, but many of them have creatine in them. I wanted something to use after my long runs. BCAA's are good for muscle recovery. This one has 7 grams of leucine, isoleucine, and valine in a 2: 1: 1 ratio. I was pretty happy with the results.The powder mixed into water well. After I finished mixing, there was some foam on top, but the powder mixed in without any residue. The flavor is OK, not the best I have had, but far from the worstHere's the rub - not sure why they had to put Women's BCAA on the label. I actually got both the Mana (Women's BCAA) for my wife and Fortis (Men's BCAA) for myself - THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME! They have all the same ingredients and taste identical to one another. I did a taste test! So, you can share the BCAA's; no need to get gender specific bottle unless you don't want to share.

I use a BCAA almost everyday for both training days and recovery days. This one sadly is not for me. It was pretty foamy after mixing. It also had a grainy taste as I could still taste some of the powder that would not dissolve. I did try shaking a little more and it did help a little.My main issue is the taste. This had a nice taste at first, but then is immediately followed by a very horrible aftertaste. It was almost like a cold medicine and medicinal taste. Sadly, this one is in the garbage as I would not reach for it again and ended up dumping my water bottle and grabbing for something else.

This is definitely not for women only. BCAAs can be used by anyone. This product has quality ingredients but the taste is pretty awful. It seems to me that they had difficulty covering up the taste from L-Leucine. While not my favorite, I will throw in some Gatorade powder to stomach it a little bit better.

I saw some of the other reviews complained about the flavor, honestly, I thought it tasted good. I have to admit, I did add this in with my greens powder and creatine, but all of that together tasted pretty good. I thought the powder mixed well, it didn't taste grainy to me. I just stuck it in a blender bottle and shook it up with water. Overall, I am happy with this product and would buy it again!

This is a good-tasting drink mix and it mixes well in water. I use a lot of powdered supplements and I always mix them with water with ice added - the ice helps it blend very quickly and thoroughly just by shaking. This powder left no grit or sludge and I like the flavor - I don't notice any aftertaste at all. This is vegan and manufactured in the U.S. - Highly recommend.

Absolutely awful after taste! Maybe the worst I've tasted out of hundreds of these BCAA's formulas. I took one drink and had to spit it out. I guess if you can tolerate the taste then this wouldn't be a bad deal for 30 servings of a 2:1:1 BCAA w/ electrolytes. I even tried to mix some Kool-Aid and Gatorade with it and it was still a deal breaker!

This is a great product. I have a super sensitive stomach and supplements make me nauseous. However this didnt do that at all for me! It was perfect. The taste is perfect and doesnt bother me at all. Also it works for what it says its supposed to do which is the most important. I would recommend this, I feel like its a great value.

The only place I saw that this product is for women is on the label. You can see it in the picture of the label. The hydration is from magnesium chloride, sodium, and potassium. A serving is 1 scoop and there are 30 servings in the container. Mix each scoop in 16 oz of water. It is manufactured in the US.
