Ultra HD 4K x 2K HDMI Splitter Amplifier 1x2 1 in 2 Out Ver 1.4 Signal Distributor with 1080P 3D Compatibility (1 hdmi to 2 hdmi)

I had bought a switch that looked just like this one from another seller.I almost never figured out how to work it and it never worked the way I expected a switch like this to work. I saw the CSRET HDMI splitter and it works so great ! I have this connected to the output on my HD satellite receiver and has it split to a 60 " TV and a HD projector.If I turned off my TV and then went to the room with the projector,I could never get a picture unless I went back and turned off my HDMI source and then turned it back on to trigger the switch.I also couldn't get audio unless I did everything in a certain sequence.My new CSRET switch works the way I think it should work. I can turn off my TV and go to the other room and turn on my projector and there is my picture and audio.I can turn off my projector and go to the other room and turn on my TV and there is my picture and audio.Works flawless ! Keep in mind that you must keep the power supply connected to this item for it to work,even though you have your HDMI cables connected and sources powered on.This allows my setup to work exactly the way I wanted it to. I love it !!!

When I initially received this unit. I connected it with a TiVo as the source and a receiver and TV as the outputs. It worked for great initially, but I when I turned on the receiver there was a new handshake which yielded video, but no audio for both the receiver output and the TV output. The splitter had to be powered off and back on to get audio back I tried every possible order and configuration of reconnecting and powering up, but no audio. I contacted the manufacturer by e-mail. They asked me for detailed information on my configuration. After bering unable to resolve the issue, they offered to send me a new unit without the need to return the first one. My initial review was one star.UPDATE:This company has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. They sent me a new unit which had the same issue. They worked with me on a daily basis having me test the unit extensively with different cables and power supplies. I finally concluded that my configuration is unusual and that the unit was not compatible with it, due to the way the receiver initiated a new handshake at startup. I conveyed this to the company and told them I was not requesting a refund. They responded by telling me that they had modified the unit at the factory in China to address my issue and that they would send me a new one from China, or a refund whichever I preferred. Today I received the new unit from China and the issue has been resolved. I will continue to monitor it for a period of time. But I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the service I have received from this company. Additionally, the unit is very well made and, I am optimistic that it will continue to perform perfectly.

After I use this item in conjunction with laptop 2 two different TVs or TV plus projector for approximately 6 months. It was always stored in its original box and placed inside my laptop bag. I went to use this item and got a unsupported message on my TV as well as my projector. I then plugged in a backup splitter amped and it came on with no issue. So this product as intended should only be used as a light duty item such as office event. It will not be Dependable enough for DJ gigs using video Etc.

** Update:Okay well I'm dumb, the box needs to be connected to the main device for audio input, or in other words, TV first then wait for like 5 second's then plug in you're second device.Apparently running it to a monitor makes the splitter decide to output without audio. Device is running well, full steam ahead!First Review:I just got this today, set up was easy, box it came in was compact. I do currently have a big complaint, I receive zero audio from either sources while using the box. Maybe I'm just stupid or something but is there a reason that it all works but the audio, all cables are under 8 feet, so everything is in pretty close proximity.

A Big Dissapointment, item worked perfectly for all of 2 hours, I was using the splitter for a football game by the time 3rd quarter started I lost reception on one of the TV's, I thought is was a bad cable and thought nothing of it, I went to use it again for today's football and I noticed only 1 of the 2 outputs were working so I still had it connected on one of my 2 TV's and before the game was over the unit no longer worked. I read so many positive reviews for this item and I got the complete opposite, I guess that's why this is $20 and there's are others that are twice as muchIf you look at pics below there are 2 green bulbs that should be lit when the HDMI are plugged in and there's a red bulb in the opposite side that should light up to indicate power none of the bulbs are litI would not recommend this item

The unit split the video perfectly between 2 HDTV's, the sound however got out of sync by about 500ms causing a maddening echo. As long as the TVs are separated far enough, it worked very well. In all fairness, it is possible that the unit is fine and the TV sound processing circuit has an issue.

Junk. I've had it hooked up for a week to split cable into my TV and Projector and it no longer works. It won't even power on now. A complete waste of money and so now here I am again searching for another one to buy. Don't waste your money!I am currently using a replacement the company sent me and will report back in two weeks. I will say that the customer service is A+, I just hope the product holds up this time.It's October 19th and so far this one is holding up great so I've changed my review from a one star to a 5🌟. Most likely the first one was just a lemon so if I have any more issues I will update.
