Review: Works on troybilt 27 ton log splitter - Works great so far and the price was great. All the threading was correct. Only thing is that the return and send inputs are opposite the original valve, the send line is now too short and it would be too hard if a bend. It’s an easy fix though. All you need is a 90 street fitting, 3/4 male into the valve to 3/4 female. I picked one up from tractor supply for $15. Overall it’s a good replacement.

**Q: I bought this valve and installed it on my tank with a 6.5 hp motor. I can not get he relief over 400 psi and it kills the engine dead. What is going?**
A: I had a greater HP engine and it didn't do that, but my weaker engine would. You may need to look up some YouTube videos to see how they corrected that by adjusting the tensioner.

Thanks for reaching out to us about the 25GPM valve.  This valve is most often used for log splitters because it has a detent function that brings the cylinder back.  But we have had several customers purchase this valve for other applications, for use on tractors and dump trailers.
