I have a small bedroom that I use for my home office and studio for recording and mixing and the size for the purported performance was just enough to push me to purchase. They arrived on time and packaged well. Hooked them up and. . . . . . . bummer! Sounded pretty bad. one speaker barley produced while the other one sounded ok. Also, was getting stereo bleed, that is to say not getting stereo separation (in my DAW). Hooked up both wire and Bluetooth same issue (PLEASE KEEP READING!). Was just about ready to pack them up and ship them back and to begin my quest once again for a pair of monitors. Just on a whim, decided give them a final listen just to drive the last nail. The iLoud Micro Monitor speakers fit the requirements quite well. The sparkers are tilted aligning to my ears. I used the 3.5mm analog connection to speakers and found the bass was emphasized and had to set the equalizer at -3dB, while maintaining the high and medium at flat. The high and mid are clear but not fatiguing. Do not hear any noise from the speakers when no sound. To control the computer volume more easily, I added a separate mechanical volume controller between the speakers and the computer. The compact speaker size is perfect for my small desk space.
