Love these feeders. Controls and depletes so much seed mess! And fun to watch them in it when hooked to the outside of the cage instead of inside where it uses more room.

I have four cocktails and they make a bit of mess with the food. I purchased this clear plexiglass box to minimize the seeds all over the floor. Easy to put together and fits great in my cage! make sure you measure if you have a smaller cage. Extremely functional and my babies love the box. Easy to add seeds, easy to remove from the cage and empty the shredded remaining of the seeds. Once in a while I was the box with warm water and a bit of gentle soap to clean and sanitize the box. It’s durable and the clear color makes it less visible in the cage. My bird population is extremely happy and they enjoy the food dispenser. I have an additional dispenser to ensure they have enough food.

My parakeets loves to dig on the food bowl and I got tired of cleaning the mess on the floor. So I bought this to help with this issue and it helped a lot. Now when they try to dig the food still inside and they don't do too much mess with the food. Is a grate material, easy to take out and fill it up and easy to clean it too. It fits perfect on one of the sides. On the picture you can see the food capacity, I don't like to fill it up too much so dmthey don't do too much mess when digging. Good quality and price.

I have 2 cockatiels that share a big cage 🐦 They are notorious for making a huge seed mess when they eat! I knew there had to be a solution so when I saw this feeder, I figured I'd give it a try!🐦 It works like a charm! It took the birds a few minutes to figure out how to actually get in the box and reach the food, but with a little encouragement & some treats, they got it! 🐦 The seed mess all over my floor is drastically reduced. It's a tight fit, & only 1 bird can eat at a time, but it’s no big deal! I do wish it was slightly bigger, but we've had it a couple weeks now and they don’t seem to mind. I wouldn't use this for anything bigger than a cockatiel though! A bigger Bird would struggle to get in and out of the feeding area!

There is nothing negative to say about these feeders. They are well-made, sturdy, and do the job of minimizing seed mess. I would caution everyone to be sure that your bird is small enough to turn around in these to get out. I have two ringneck doves and I ordered the medium size (the largest they had). My doves took to them right away, having no issues figuring out how to get in them and access the food. Our problem was, when they finished eating from them the first time, they could not turn around to get out. I had to take them out by hand backwards because their tails were too long to fit inside the box to allow them to turn to get back out. This is the only reason I will need to return these, and it's no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I will be replacing these with the extra large bird baths and using that for seed instead, to still keep the mess at a minimum but have enough room for them to come and go. But I would highly recommend these for any smaller bird less than say 8 inches long or so. Hope this helps :)

Beware. My GCC got wedged under the metal bar and was struggling so much and was so panicked, had I not heard his cries in the middle of the night, he may have died. I’m still giving three stars because I like the concept and will continue to use the feeder - with the metal bar removed. I made a modification to cover the plastic divider edge with a modified perch. My birds love the feeder, but it is definitely not worth the risk of using it with the included metal perch.

What a mess saver! So happy to have found this. My conure loves to fling her chop. I remove any leftover every night, wash it up, and it’s ready in the morning. Best invention. Plus it’s fun to watch her eat without getting her food on me or in my coffee!

Great mess-free feeders for my two parrotlets. It's a bit of a chore to clean all the nooks and cranies every morning but it does a good job keeping most of the mess inside and my birds love them! They seem to feel safe in them. The smaller one can hold a good amount of chop. If I notice gunk starting to build up along the edges/corners despite daily cleaning, I just use a toothpick to scrape it off and wash again afterward.

I was pretty sceptical about buying this at first, but surprisingly it arrived within 2 days as advertised. I bought the largest size just to make sure my birds have room to stand. It is MASSIVE and I’m pretty satisfied with it. Come with 4 hooks and nails, quite sturdy. Quite expensive but definitely worth it.
