5" Transformer Decepticon 3d Chrome Emblem on Black Steel License Plate

Initially they shipped me the autobot plate (c'mon you had 1 job!) but they quickly sent me a decpticon plate w/ a pre-paid return label.The quality of the black powdercoated steel is great and you can feel the weight of it! The Emblem is very nice too and large enough to spot far away, but not be over bearing.Cons: Pain in butt to install if you have a "front plate holder" - the screws came with it were too long and pointy so it would scratch the paint if you use them on a plate holder. I had to get 3/4" bolt (top 2) and 1" bolt and not (bottom 2) to secure it.No instructions, but I figured out you need to put the clear plastic on top and then put the screw through in order to have the "black cap" snap on. The black cap won't stay on very well, I suggest putting glue or an adhesive in it so it doesn't pop off when driving or in a car wash.

Screws don't secure it properly and I don't have much confidence that it will stay intact long.

Nice heavy duty license plate. The emblem is raised chrome as advertised, and is not painted or a decal. The shipping was prompt as well. The only issue i had is it comes with chrome screws, and not the black ones pictures, but that's not enough to complain about. bought it as a gift for my husband, and he loves it!
