This isn't hard to fix, within a few sharpenings on the file, you can square up that edge and just leave the corners rounded so it doesn't create stripes like the carbide scraper does. 2.) The included file works to undo the screw holding the blade in, but only just. It doesn't feel very nice to use, though works fine. They should grind the tail of the file into a screwdriver flat (it's what I did) 3.) the screw holding the blade is JUST too big to slip the blade over. This would have made quick-changing blades far, far easier, but it's just a HAIR too big. I might file it down eventually, but if they made it about 1/16th of an inch narrower in diameter, it wouldn't have affected performance negatively, and would let you change blades only by loosening the screw, rather than removing it. Again, all of these are minor. This thing is a godsend tool. I like having both a carbide scraper with disposable blades and this, but push to shove, I reach for this one five times as often for the finer detail furniture work I do.
