great pet barrier!
what a great, easy to assemble dog barrier. for just $20 bucks I finally have peace in the car without installing some bulky equipment - no more dog heads competing for space through the two front seats! I have a honda element and this net was very easy to put up. and if I want to take it down for some reason it'd only take me a minuteone huge plus is not having dog hair all over the front of my car! but the greatest and probably least expected benefit is how much more calm the dogs are! one of my dogs in particular is a very high anxiety guy and he usually has a whole routine in the car that involves pacing, jumping up to sniff out the front windows, crying (such whimperings!), popping. pacing. pacing.. and so forth. with the net installed he will actually just lay down on the dog bed and chill out. it is an utterly altered and much happier experience in the car now for all parties involvedI will mention one annoying side-effect i've discovered - if you have a particularly stubborn dog he may try stuffing his head through the sides of the seats by one of the front windows. but out of the four dogs I hike with, only one insists on doing that and even he is starting to get the idea that he's not allowed to pop his head out the side of my seat and drool on my armthank you warmland pet net barrier..our car experience has been transformed from crazy to calm

this should work great. My only suggestion would be to add some ...
I had to hook this up in a relatively unconventional manner since the cabin of my 2015 Subaru WRX is probably smaller than what this was designed for. Once I have it hooked up, it works well. If your car is a small SUV or larger, this should work great. My only suggestion would be to add some places where the S hooks can attach, since it is not feasible for me to hook them to my headrest posts.I think it is very sturdy.

Wrong item sent?
I have a midsize sedan and this barrier did not fit as shown. In the picture it looks narrow, covering 1/2 to 2/3 of each front seat side to side. The one I received covered at about 90% of both front seats side to side. Because of its width, I had to attach it to the handles above the front doors instead of to the headrest. It comes with 6 S-hooks to attach it with, but they fit awkwardly and insecurely into the loops at the end of the straps as well as to the attachment points in my car. Even after tightening down the straps, it had a loose, baggy fit. Also, the bottom 2 center straps were sewn onto opposite sides of the fabric, both dead center, and this caused the barrier to twist when the straps were attached to opposite seats on either side. The bottom center straps were also barely long enough to reach beyond the center console and to secure attachment points under the seats. I received a refund after returning the item and am not sure if I was sent the right item in the first place.

STRAPS ARE DEFECTIVE
This was the second time I have bought this and the strap broke on both of them. My dog doesn't put any pressure on the barrier at all. The stitching on straps are defective.

Good idea, poor design
Good idea, poor design.. This barrier fits well enough, however, because the rod that goes through the top of the barrier is too long for the shipping box, it comes in 4 sections that slide into each other and then is inserted through the top of the barrier. Herein lies the design flaw.. It is made of lightweight aluminum. It took my 80 lb Lab about 5 minutes to test the strength of this crossbar and bend it into a bow shape and the pieces all came apart. If you have a small dog I would think you would be ok but if you own a medium to large dog that is insistent on being up front with you, this is not gonna last long...

Very efficient
This thing is awesome! I drive a Chevy Cruze and it fits perfectly. My dog stays in the back seat the entire time i'm driving. He has even tired biting it and scratching at it at first and the material held up well. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling to keep their dog in the backseat.

... have a Chrysler Sebring four-door sedan and its a pretty wide car
I have a Chrysler Sebring four-door sedan and its a pretty wide car, so I was concerned that the net would be too small, but it is huge. I had to bend the pole on the top in order to get it to fit. But that's probably my fault for not measuring my car first. It didn't fit great, it is baggy at the base of the seats and stretched too tight on the top. However, if you use your imagination the clasps and hooks they give you can probably be used in just about any car, as long as you are willing to compromise. My dog is much better behaved with the net up, and he seemed to accept that he couldn't get through it pretty quickly. All in all- it does what I need it to do, and I am loving not having to worry about my dog leaping onto my lap when I am driving!

It does make it harder to see out back window
Not exactly what I was picturing. It’s a bit of a hassle and my dog was still able to stand and just put his paws on top of it and it just dipped down.. just defeated the purpose.
