Great to finally have an accurate classics galvatron.

While I understand that Hasbro's main concern is making toys that children will buy and play with, sometimes a hardcore collector wants something more -- bigger, more screen-accurate, figures of more obscure characters, etc. And it'd be cost-prohibitive for Hasbro to cater only to the hardcore fans, I'm sure. That's where third-party creators come in -- they often painstakingly recreate characters so they're as screen-accurate as possible, create figures of characters Hasbro hasn't touched yet, or just give their own take on a character. And "Maniaking" -- a figure that's pretty much Galvatron in all but name, to avoid copyright issues -- is a classic example of this, a gorgeously rendered figure that's a fitting tribute to the mad tyrant we all know and love/love to hate.Maniaking is gorgeous, vibrantly colored and painstakingly detailed. He's incredibly well-articulated and posable, and feels sturdy and high-quality when picked up. His transformation is tricky, but mostly a non-issue for me as I intend to keep him in robot form most of the time. He's definitely NOT for kids, however, given his sharp points and complicated transformation... not to mention his high price.Gorgeous figure of a favorite character, Maniaking is the Galvatron figure we never knew we needed but highly deserve.
