Great, very cute!!
I got three of these for Christmas presents and set them up before wrapping them (placed the bow on top , so that I know not to tilt them ;-)There is a little bit of set up required, but once you set it up, works perfectly.I noticed some reviews had comments about the jelly fish not floating or the lamp not working properly, so I was a little afraid at first. Here are some tips on what I did and hopefully this can help others who may be experiencing issues;1. I filled the lamp with water then added 3 drops of Dawn dish soap.2. I carefully rinsed the jelly fish before putting in the lamp, gently untangling while under the running water.3. When placed in lamp, I sort of placed at an angle, so that the whole jelly was filled with water (vs. just dropping in) making sure no air bubbles were formed inside the jelly fish.Additional observations and Tips:a. If there are any air bubbles in the jelly fish, they just tend to float on top and not move around, all you need to do is carefully tap them from the top until all air is released, then they will start moving and floating around.b. At first the water will not be as clear and will look as if it has lots of air bubbles this is just to to the the soap, once it all settles down, approximately 10-15 minutes, the water will be really clear and not so many air bubbles.c. You may want to wait until all this settles before you start tapping the jelly fish from the top to remove any remaining air bubbles from the jelly fish, because I noticed that once it all settles down, there will be less bottles.d. After setting all up, I placed the top lid on with the longest part to the back, to allow more view from the front (when first opened,I noticed the longest part was in front, but I feel this just covers more of the view in front)Hope this info is helpful!

It works!
It works! I'm so happy. I have a very stressful job and having this on my desk makes me happy. How long will it last, I don't know but for the moment it makes me happy. The box looked like it came from the 80s which made me a little nervous but once I took it out of the box I thought "oh...ok."I tried to follow the instructions but unfortunately they were not the clear. It was to an English translation. I followed some of the other reviewers instructions on here. I poured in distilled waterThen added the jellyfish. I plugged it into a wall unit and then turned it on. After being turned on I added 3 drops of dawn dish soap and pushed the jellies down to get some of the bubbles from the soap out of their umbrellas. It's working like a beauty and my new source of happiness!

Liked it while it lasted
Got a year ago. I really enjoyed watching it. Eats batteries pretty quickly. Didn't use it for several months then plug the USB port into my computer and the motor that pushes the water to move the jellyfish had died. The light still worked but without movement not much to look at.

But this is super cute and easy to set up
I've had it two weeks now, so im not sure of longevity just yet. But this is super cute and easy to set up. Its small and the jellyfish sre tiny, especially compared to the tanks ive had in the past. But its perfect for my office. The motor is silent so far.I would highly recommend this, especially for the price.

Circulation motors were bad. It was just lights and the jellyfish floated ...
Bought 2 lamps on the same order and both were broken. Circulation motors were bad. It was just lights and the jellyfish floated on the top. Very disappointed.

I really enjoy this item
I really enjoy this item. It is sitting on my desk at work and people always mistake the jellyfish for being real. It works great and I have had it for some time now. The color change is relaxing and it is just a unique item.

I like this device and once you get the soap figured ...
I like this device and once you get the soap figured out and all the small air bubbles out of the jelly fishs' heads, they work wonderful. My issue is it gets dirty easy and needs to be cleaned frequently. We've tried putting bleach in the water and it still gets scummy after a while.
