Runyon Clarinet Thumb Saver

The item I received was not the one in the picture. This cushion will slip off. I only bought because I used a cushion similar to this years ago and enjoy. DO NOT BUY

When these were shipped, the invoice accompanying the small box showed that all 3 I bought were in the box. When I got the order, there were only 2 inside. I immediately called the toll free number. The company rep that I spoke with gave me a credit to an account she made for me, then used that credit to "purchase" another one to be sent. I truly appreciated that I didn't have to purchase another one to replace what was missing!!!

Gag item, automatically comes off, has sharp edges to be irritating if you can get yout thumb on it before it comes off. Buy to laugh at players. Laugh together! Then, recyle bin it.

I bought this to pad my thumb with my new clarinet. That was always something I disliked as a teen...sore thumb from the thumb rest which had a thin layer of cork. This thumb saver doesn't stay put on the thumb rest...it pops right off. It's not worth returning and I don't want to glue it on.

This thumb saver doesn't fit so it comes off easily. I might try putting some paper in it or something to make it a small hole. It was worth a shot at under $2 including shipping, though.

I don't understand how this is supposed to "save" your thumb. It's more uncomfortable than the bare thumb pad! Definitely a waste of money.

Read the other reviews, it doesn't stay on. You shove it on, it ooches right back off. Doesn't even stay on long enough to get the clarinet up to your mouth before it pops onto the floor.

Saves my thumb every time I play my clarinet. Can go much longer.
