Takes some getting used to the technique and getting an effective slice and I'm not sure it's much faster than just using a knife, but if you're trying to core out the water melon to use as a serving container for a party, this would be the right tool for the job. The bonus avocado tool and baller/carving tool make this package a good value.

Fun tool. I'm still working on the learning curb of making it work. The only thing I would change is the grip. I needs a rubber handle or something that won't press into you hand when you have to put more pressure on the fruit. I love the attachments. We use them for more than what they were planned for.

These are handy items if you are a vegetarian like me (or just like to eat fruits and vegetables). It takes a little practice to use the mellon slicer. Only four starts for me because I usually buy mini's and this tool is best suited to the larger oval mellons. Only used once so far so can't speak to durability.

It has never been easier slicing a watermelon. It took some getting used to but once I figured it out it worked great. The other tools are useful as well. I received my package quickly and efficiently with no damage to any of the boxes inside.

I liked the product as it was easy to use and got me good results but only after some practice.The melon baller and the avocado slices are great bonuses as well.The only thing I wanted was some kind of instructions with the box especially for decorator and avacado slicer.

I saw a product review on a local news channel that showed the "Seen on TV" version of this slicer did not work well on cantelope or Honey Dew melons. I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. It works great on Honey Dew melons. I slice them and freeze the chunks to use in my smoothies. It is perfect. Great size but needs the melon to be ripe. Highly recommend it for these smaller melons.

Great product easy to use seems to very of very high quality, much better than the cheap pos I got from that auction site. Have not yet had the opportunity to use the other items that's came along with the slicer.

Tried the watermelon cutter and it does not work very well. Looks so simple in the pictures but is not that easy... Like the avocado slicer and the melon ball spoon. There was no book in my order or instructions. If I could return just the watermelon slicer and keep the others I would.
