First let me say this bookcase is beautiful! I love it. And the price range is 👌 I paid around 110$ It wasnt hard to assemble but I probably made a mistake somewhere because there was no way for the grey ugly metal that supports the back to not show on the front! I dissambled it and re did it and still couldn't make it face the back of the shelves! But if it really bothers me ill just paint it black! Otherwise I love it! And it's taller then I expected so thats a plus Last thing ; its not really sturdy if you put a lot of books! As in, it could easily loose its balance thats why the fact they added the nails to stick it to the wall is great ; i have three toddlers and when I saw how flimsy it was when i added the books I got concerned but now that its attached to the wall it's perfect.

It’s great
It stands up just fine for me, on my level floor where I have my makeshift home office set up. I didn’t need the anchor. Some reviews have claimed difficulty in screwing the back boards on. I found it not difficult at all. However I inserted and lined up/seated all the screws beforehand (see picture) before screwing them in. That allowed me to make minor rotational adjustments necessary to get it all to line up. It’s a very precise shelf and was fun to put together. I highly recommend using a decent corded power screwdriver (I use the kind that fits either screw bits or drill bits) and has variable power depending on how much the trigger on the trigger is pulled inward. This will make the experience a cinch and will guarantee everything fits snugly. I will say that the two odd-duck-out “machine screws” the contact the two lower shelves were a bit weird and did seem like a design afterthought but I honestly haven’t had any issues at all. It’s been solid for a few weeks now, standing as pictured. Cheers. If anything changes I’ll post back.
