The Silverline

This book was interesting for the most part. It held my attention while reading it but it didn't make me have that "can't put it down" feeling.The characters were good, nothing too in depth. Several times I thought it would take another direction than it did.

I liked this story. Following Samuel and Benjamin along on their first business adventure with a crooked rich man and how they overcame defeat was believable and fun. A good wild west tale where good vs. bad always prevails.

Short story with very predictable ending. Little plot development, read like a harlequin. A quick sitting on the beach or nothing else to read book.

The ending was kind of transparent. the short story is interesting but not one that is a real head stomper.

I didn't enjoy this book. Never developed the characters fully. The story was disjointed and left me wondering if there was more to the story that the author didn't want us to know.
