The Pocket Bible Doodle Book Paperback – Picture Book, January 7, 2012

This was a little smaller than expected, especially after first buying the full-sized version. (I probably should have noted the dimensions a little more carefully). The stories/pictures are different than the full-sized version as well, and while it worked for us, I wished that the two were more similar in at least the stories they covered (even if this one has a few more pages, or options, per story sometimes). The only really negative aspect is since this book is so small and the pages are made with nice, thick quality paper and binding, that it is sometimes difficult to have this book opened flat enough to draw/color in it comfortably. Great ideas for some of the stories though, it does allow a lot of creativity while helping my 10 year old focus on some Biblical truths and history!

My 8yr old wanted this so at school during her extra time she could go through it. It looks like it will fit in a back pocket or easily in a bag or purse. I flipped through it a bit and it's really neat how not only is it telling the story but it's getting them involved in it.

I love, love, love this book! It is perfect for our daily Bible time!

It's a fun book for my 7 year old when he comes to big church with us.

I gave this book to my 7-year old grandson and he loves it! A very novel way for youngsters to enjoy the bible. I highly recommend it.

Very kid-friendly and fun! It's great to drop my purse or in my daughter's bag for fun on the go.
