Will it fit in most standard banjo cases?** A: Other reviews stated that a standard case was too small for it so I followed another reviewers suggestion here and bought a case from Amazon. The Carrion C-2901 Fretted Resonator Banjo Case. It fits perfectly in it. **Q: is the nut 1 5/8"** A: The Nut is 1 11/16" Distance from string to string is 1 3/8 which makes it very similar to epiphone guitars. I had a Rogue which had a much narrower neck and was hard to do fancy picking on. This is way more like a guitar, as far as your left hand is concerned. The strap is run under the head clamps all the way around the body of the banjo giving much better support than just using two connection points.
