Perfect for relays
I bought these to use for PE class with my students for relay races. Received quickly and serve their purpose. No complaints.

Solid, Light, Bright Colors
These are great for relay races. The batons are light weight, bright colors and edges are smooth and will not fit or cut your hands when handing off to a teammate. This is good for playing with a bunch of kids at a minimal cost.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information.

Too Lightweight And Need To Ship BOXED!
These are very lightweight and colorful batons—in fact, TOO lightweight. Mine arrived, literally, in a plastic bag. And, that was not enough protection. Two were severely crushed on the ends, and I had to order a replacement set (which arrived with no issue). While these won’t weigh your runners down, they are also not going to stand up to much dropping or anything else, either. I recommend you look for something a little heavier and a lot more durable. I cannot recommend these.

For casual use only, not valid for U.S. high school track competition
You get 4 batons of the type used in Track for running relays. Here's the problem: You can't actually use these in a U.S. High School Track meet, as the batons are too skinny. I'm a licensed official for high school track & field and these batons aren't wide enough to meet the standard. Batons must be between 4 and 5 inches in diameter to be legal for competition and these come in at just 3.5 inches. You could probably use these in most U.S. states for a middle school meet, as they typically do not have established standards, but why would you? Middle school track should help prepare an athlete for high school and there's no compelling reason to have significantly skinnier batons in middle school (every middle school meet I've seen has used the same batons as the high schools). These are really only useful for running random relays just for fun in non-track sports (I may use these for some games with my cross country team in the fall) - or if you were using them in a gym class, particularly in elementary school. But that's really all that they are going to be useful for.

Great for Kids!
I used these with a large group of kids to show them how to run a relay and they were a hit! I haven’t compared them, but they appear to be longer, slimmer, and more brightly colored than your traditional batons. That is great for kids because their hands are smaller and length leaves less room for error. The bright colors are also more fun to look at. I would definitely recommend these for coaches to use with less experienced runners, P.E. teachers, or for field days!

Can't Go Wrong With These
I wasn't sure about the construction quality but when we pulled them out of the packaging, I was confident this would work just great for a relay race. Consistent quality construction. Trust it will last for some time to come.

Excellent Batons for Gym Use
My wife has used these in her elementary school gym and they have held up well, so far. They have been dropped dozens of times and have not suffered any significant dings, yet. The kids love that they are lightweight and they love the bright colors. I don't know how well they will hold up on asphalt or cinder tracks, but they have worked well in her gym.
