Starting with a jewelry-weight tin, I affix and finish a paper image of a suffragette poster with a beautiful Votes for Women message (in public domain) onto the tin surface. Finally, I attach a nice, locking clutch pin back to the pin with super-strong jewelry glue. The pin measures 3/4 of an inch wide by 1 1/3 inches long.
