Evernew Titanium Mug Pot 500 Stove Set RED ECA268R

This is a great little stove set. Takes some practice to figure out how much alcohol to use for the amount of water to boil. Keep in mind this stove is mainly for boiling water. You cannot control the flame! The handles do get very hot so face the handles into the wind to keep them cool while cooking. I love how compact this set is and how it all nestles into the pot. If you run out of alcohol, you can burn sticks to boil your water. If you want to go even lighter then you can just use the alcohol stove and buy the cross stand.

This is a slick set that works so well together and weighs so little. Having a complete set like this makes it very convenient to use like a Jetboil - every part works together and it all packs away so neatly. No need to buy/make a stove, buy a pot to fit on it, and then make a stand and windscreen. Sure it takes about 5-1/2 mins to boil 2 cups of water instead of 2+ minutes on a canister stove (like a Pocket Rocket or Jetboil), but that difference is really negligible most of the time (except possibly in the dead of winter.) I believe more people would turn to an alcohol stove if they saw this Appalachian set. Way to go Evernew!

This is a great product with considerable fuel versatility. You can use this system to burn solid fuel (Esbit) or wood. The alcohol burner is best in class. I use the Heat brand gas additive (Yellow) as fuel. The whole package is feather light. It would be "5 star" if the pot were just a tad bigger, say 700ml.

This set really is bulletproof and does everything it touts. FAST boil times after an easy setup! And just SO light! LOVE this stove! Perfect for backpacking/bikepacking and see this lasting a LONG time!

Just used my new system this morning and I love it. It boiled water in 5.21 minutes and that's hard to beat. I will have to say that it's definitely my new solo stove. I will never use my canister stove unless it's it's more than two in my backpacking party. The only downside to this stove is that it's has to burn out so you need to know how much fuel you need to cook with. It also doesn't come with a simmer ring but I could care less. I only boil water for freeze dried meal anyway so it's perfect for that!!!

The stove burns too hot and the flame extends well beyond the edges of the pot, so a lot of the heat is wasted.I had better luck when I used a windscreen. But if I have to use a windscreen, why bother with the Evernew stove pipe?

Love this stove. It is great for boiling water, cooking ramen noodles, and heating canned foods.

I am going to start with the positives. The stove is a monster. I also own a Toaks Siphon stove and this is at least twice as fast. It will boil the included pot in about 3.5 minutes. The Toaks is closer to 8 minutes. More if its windy. Although the Toaks is a lot easier on fuel usage.Now for the bad. Keep in mind that I am speaking about the product as it comes. It may be different with a larger pot or a different pot holder. This not about the stove specifically. Its as it comes as a kit.Cons. Way too hot. To the point that it will blister your skin. Even the red rubber lid tab gets extremely hot. You will need thick gloves to touch the handle on the pot. The reason is that the flames come out of the holes in the top of the pot holder and make direct contact with the pot handles. I have leather gloves and it still gets too hot. This is from someone that has welded for years so I know what hot is. I can't see how this kit gets the high reviews that it gets. IF you want to lug around welding gloves then there isn't an issue. However, I am a long distant backpacker and that is just unacceptable.I cannot recommend this set as it comes and I would not purchase again. Maybe get the stove and the other pot holder that is available. Unless you really need the wood burning capability I would not get this kit.

Habe bis jetzt immer mit Gas gekocht, und das ist auch meine erste Wahl. Aber der Titanium Kocher von evernew ist eine Wucht, hat eine wahnsins power, dadurch aber auch einen ordentlichen Verbrauch an Brennstoff. Nachteil ist vielleicht. dass man die Flamme nicht regulieren kann, wann kommt ein Titanium Stove wie der Trangia oder Esbit mit einem Flammenregulierer auf dem Markt? Vorteil bei Titan gegenüber anderer Materialien ist, dass es tatsächlich weniger Rußbildung gibt (Bioethanol vorausgestzt) Fazit: Der Kocher ist sehr gut geeignet um schnell auch eine größere Menge zum kochen zu bringen. Für "langsames" köcheln z.b. bei rohem Reis für einen längeren Zeitpunkt nicht geeignet da man die Flamme nicht regulieren kann.Ich fülle ihn meist mit Ethanol fast voll auf und koche damit mein Teewasser und genieße danach noch einige Minuten die Wärme der Flammen, herrlich besonders in der kühleren Jahreszeit. Der Preis erscheint hoch, ist aber ein langlebiges Produkt was keine besondere Pflege/Wartung bedarf. Einzig sorgsames Umgehen ist angesagt, da das Titan ziemlich dünn ist, dadurch aber auch der Ultralight Charakter zum tragen kommt.

I have been using this for a while now and it has been great for a quick cup of coffee or snack during hikes or even at some quiet locations.All you need is a little more than 20ml of alcohol for a cup of 200ml water, or abt 45ml of alcohol to heat up 400ml of water.It's best to get used to the amount used so that you do not have to waste too much fuel or have too little. Will definitely be using this more and more.

If you want light - You've got it!This alcohol stove set up is super light. Everything packs up neatly in the pot for storage, and it comes with a storage bag and cleaning cloth.The assembled unit looks neat and fits together nicely (Packed and unpacked), although the "Power plate" is easily bent if you're not too careful. The Evernew burner puts out a great deal of heat. This is really mainly used as a water boiler, simmering is not possible. Also you have to wait for the fuel to run out before you can top up the stoves fuel or pack it away after you've heated your water / meal. It cools down really quickly making packing up quick after use.I've only used this with meths, so I can't comment on it's wood burning side - although it seems very small for this purpose.If you want to boil water fast (for an alcohol burner) this is for you. However after a few months use here are a few things I've noticed:This set up *WILL* need an additional windscreen in all but dead calm weather.It's thirsty with fuel compared to a Trangia - but boils faster.There are 2 wide holes (for inserting wood I assume). The top hole creates unequal flame distribution and allows flame to escape out the side resulting in heat loss (I blocked mine off with cuttings from a coke can).I really wanted to love this item. Yes it's super light, easy to bend too. Just doesn't quick hit the mark.

Brilliant bit of kit, could be a touch more robust to improve life given rather excessive cost.

The media could not be loaded.  セットについてきた　アルコールストーブは火力がとても強いので、自作の200㎖アルミ缶で作った小型のものを、1段で使ってみました。リング1段でも2段でも　うまく組み合わせれば　火力を調節できてうまく使えそうな気がします。コーヒーの湯沸かしにと思って買いました。ずっと欲しかったのですが、持ってるもので我慢して使っていました。　まあまあ　満足しています。500のポットにちょうどよく入るので　自宅で使ってもコンパクトに片付いてこれも満足、250㏄ぐらいでしか使ってませんが、湯の流れも底に垂れることなくきれいにコーヒーに落ちてくれているのでこれも気に入っています。(なんだ、これでいいんじゃない)って。コーヒー淹れるケトルでいうとスノピのケトル№１よりいいかもしれません。
