Because of the placement of my front door, I can't have a swinging screen door so the retractable was the perfect solution. I have 3 cats that tried to escape the screen so I'm using a baby gate but at least I can have a screen door now when it is cool outside. My brother helped me install it, I wasn't strong enough to get the screen installed which had more to do with my door frame and not the screen.
