How long do blueberries last in this container?

Typically 7-10 days -- once they go into the container I eat some everyday so it's hard to say exactly how long. I find these berry containers to be the best for keeping blueberries and raspberries fresh over the course of a week. IF you need longer storage freeze them on a tray.

Does the blue colander have little feet or a bottom rim, so that it can stand on its own, and let air flow across bottom?

The bottom on the colander part has a raised rim so it can stand on its own and drain. When you store the berries, the colander part fits inside the outer container and can continue to drain into the outer container in the fridge and allow a little air circulation.
