Perfect reading for a granny and grand-child - short stories just right length. Much better than Oxford reading scheme books - far far more exciting and engaging for the average 6 year old. Stimulating reading on each page, leads children to WANTING to read the next part of the story. Rewarding the new reader with pleasurable, funny and exciting stories. Would give the book an excellent rating - 5-star stuff!. Cannot praise this book highly enough. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Got it for my granddaughter and she loves it. Very funny stories and easy to understand/read!

短いもので６ページ、長いもので35ページくらいの短編集です。複雑なプロットなどはなく、たんたんと物語が進んでハッピーエンドで終わる話が多いのが特徴です。もともと子ども向けなので難しい文法などは使われていなくて、簡単に読めます。263ページのペーパーバックですが、文字が大きく、大人向けのペーパーバックの半分くらいの文字量です。 勉強のために読むには適していますが、感動するとか、ワクワクドキドキとかそういうのはあまり期待できません。そういう話を望む人は、ロアルド・ダールなどのほうがいいでしょう。 同じシリーズで５歳から１０歳まで、Funny、Adventure、Magical、Scary という分類の本が出ています。
