I'm not very happy with the design of the unit in that respect, but other than that it's working well for me and is inexpensive. **Q: What's the frequency respond range? is it comparable to prodi and jdi?** A: Yes full Hz response from 20 to 20,000 hz **Q: How much does it weight?** A: Not more than a pound or two, but really... save yourself the headache and go with 2 LiveWires. I've had my two for almost a year with about 75% beach gigs and they still work like new. The Pyle had problems out of the box. **Q: Any suggestions on how to get rid of the loud signal noise? Had clean guitar and bass going in, out via xlr to interface, sound unusable.** A: I have the one with the xlr in/out as well. It is noisy.. suspect the TRS inputs I'm using in my Stereo Out Processor is a different wiring. My Guy is adding a ground.
