Park Tool BCB-4 Bike Cleaning Brush Set

My first thought when I saw this product was "who the hell would buy Park cleaning brushes?" Yes, I agree that Park tools are generally very high quality and worth the money but...brushes? Who cares? So then I started searching for generic cleaning brushes from the auto or home industry and was surprised that a) there aren't a lot out there, b) none are customized to bikes like these, and c) they are all about the same price as the Park brushes.So I bought them and, as you'd expect, they're fantastic. Makes cleaning my mountain bikes easier, faster, and more effective.

Update:I'm leaving 4 stars because I absolutely love the product still, but the rubber at the top of the black brush came off and exposed sharp metal while I was washing the bike and I didn't notice with all the suds etc. As a result, I scratched up the paint job on my frame pretty badly. I'm a bit heart broken, but I reattached the rubber with some crazy glue and it seems to be holding on so far. Just a heads up to everyone...Original review:One brush with the grey part in the middle falls apart easily and quickly. Which sucks, because it's my favorite especially when scrubbing the tires. But everything else works great.

Good product

I can't really compare these brushes to other brands, as these are the first I've ever purchased. That said, though, they really made cleaning my bike a pretty painless job. Each brush is designed for a particular part of the cleaning process, and each seems to do its job well, with the right amount of stiffness or not-stiffness, etc. I should say that I removed my wheels while I was cleaning my bike, so I couldn't say how well these clean in the tight spots if the wheels are still on.I also got the Park Tool chain cleaner (that's a little tougher to use, I think)--these brushes, while good, aren't going to do much for the chain itself.

Perfect set of brushes. Everything you need to clean your bike (also need soap and water, duh).

These brushed are excellent. They are good quality and sturdy. Every brush comes in handy to get every spot on the bikes. I was most surprised how useful the bottle brush was, I didn't realize I needed one before for the bike, but turns out it is perfect for getting into all these hard to reach places. Used dawn dish soap and warm water to clean the bike per park tools demo video. Only minor negative point is some of the bristles on the larger brush were bent from shipping, but it didn't affect cleaning ability and I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually go back to their normal position.

If you want to clean your bike properly you need these brushes. High quality, and fit for purpose.

Overall quality is bad, brushes are way to soft and looses shape after a singel use.
