First, I was not sure how my sensitive skin would react to it (I have psoriasis, allergies, Celiac Disease—so I try to find gluten-free products, etc). The company assured me that all of the ingredients are “natural” but could not confirm it was gluten-free. I will say that the cream SEEMS TO BE gluten-free based on the ingredient list however. The second reason I was skeptical was because I always thought the only way to truly exfoliate any part of the skin was to use a really rough scrub (for me, this can irritate my skin/ psoriasis even more) or a chemical peel (which I am so against trying at this point for fear of horrible skin reactions). This product, on the other hand, looked like a lotion (how would that “exfoliate” the skin?!). I have tried prescription and over- the- counter products, paraben- free, gluten- free, sulfate- free, etc; I have found daily cleansers and moisturizers that are pretty good, but I needed a good product that would help eliminate my stubborn dry patches. So, I decided to move forward and try this product, albeit somewhat hesitantly (I just made sure to wash my hands well after use, etc…those with Celiac Disease will especially understand!). And let me tell you… IT DOES WORK!!!I followed the directions (i.e., Apply a thin layer of mask to cleansed skin. Dilute with water for a lighter application. Leave on for 5 to 20 minutes. Remove with a damp cloth.) I did not dilute with water, and I left it on for about 10 minutes. Afterward, my skin felt immediately SO SOFT. I also noticed that the dry patches on my cheeks were GONE! They are still gone after a couple days. I LOVE THIS! After just one use, I feel like it reduced the size of my pores, it may have reduced some fine lines, it definitely moisturized my face, and it resulted in NO allergic side effects! I am hoping for more positive benefits with continued use. There is really no smell to it (which is a GOOD thing, I am sure you agree!) and it leaves no feel of film on the skin. It is a DEFINITE WIN!Any negatives?The ONLY negative I can come up with for this product is a personal preference issue. I wish this came in a bottle with a pump dispenser, as I do not like digging into tubs of cream. Regardless, it is WORTH IT for this product!Bottom line:I have tried prescription skin products and have purchased more expensive products than this to help with my skin issues…but this takes the cake! This product is amazing! I am almost 50 years of age, so my skin has hormonal fluctuations as one might expect. I do my best to stick to a regimented beauty routine, however due to my schedule - it is sometimes difficult because I travel so much of my time. This product leaves my skin supple and extremely soft. I appreciate the fact that it contains Vitamin C and CoQ10 which my online research states is really goof for your skin. This product provided a lot of hydration for my face. I am certainly looking forward to using it this summer as I live in Florida (The Sunshine State) so I have to take extra care from the sun. I used it primarily at night prior to going to bed. I followed the recommended directions for use and only applied a very thin layer all over my face and neck. I left the product on my face for 15 minutes and removed it with a damp wash cloth. The product came off of my face right away and didn't leave any residue. I really liked this product. I did receive this product for a discount in exchange for an honest review.
