Handmade Silver Cross Necklace With Pearls

This Sterling silver cross is my own design, cut, shaped and polished by hand in my studio. The silver was hammered to create a slightly concave shape, then the hammer marks were polished to make a smooth surface with just a bit of wave and texture. I chose individually knotted large freshwater Pearls to make the necklace. Knotting the pearls gives the necklace an elegant look and greater flexibility than simply stringing them. It also helps to protect your investment. If you ever caught or broke your necklace, the pearls would not fly all over the place, then you would simply return it to me for a free repair. :) The necklace is about 20 inches long including the lobster claw catch. The cross is 2 inches long. It is 1 1/4 inches wide. Either as an expression of faith or simply a beautiful object, you will enjoy wearing it. Thank you and I hope you will consider my work.
