Better imitation than imitation crab meat, but not great for people that tasted real caviar. Both taste and texture are off.I suppose it is OK for people that never tasted the real thing and for very light topping on hors d'oeuvre.I am not buying real caviar anymore for conservation.

I love salmon caviar but aspire to be vegan for ethical and environmental reasons. This stuff tastes almost like the real thing. I have a hard time believing it is vegan. The only thing that's off is the caviar "eggs" are smaller than salmon caviar and don't have the same luscious "pop"--but the taste is the same.
