Questionable Product __NDC: 63347-0501-01 Blaine Labs
After a month of daily application to nail bed and surrounding areas, I foundthis product to be ineffective. The active ingredient is Undecylenic Acid. Witha bit of research, some references ( Consumer Reports ,et.al) state thisingredient as somewhat effective if applied as "brush on" treatment(presumably if higher % ingredient than indicated on this Tineacide product.Mayo Clinic and others state this ingredient as largely ineffective, howeveragreed with the effectiveness of the brush on Tx method. However, nothing beats an actual prescription strength product.I chose this product as many did, because of previous recommendations, and the fact that my symptoms are mild. Several months ago I purchasedthe Tineacide 1.25 fluid ounce cream from a well known vendor. I foundit effective and long lasting if small size. The active ingredient is Clotrimazole. As the merchant no longer carries this product, I sought out Blaine Labs viaAmazon site. To be fair, I also purchased the 1.25 oz. cream ( also UndecylenicAcid) along with the brush on Tx, for comparison. Neither demonstrated anyimprovement on Toenail and surrounding Toe or Heel.I find this product questionable not only because of the presumably low concentration of active ingredient, but the fact that so many usersmention of differing ingredients. Either this item is fraudulent or a verypoor revised one. I would not recommend purchase. To add : My toenails were kept very short , with each brush on applicationfollowed by open toed footwear to allow optimum skin and nail absorption. This pattern never varied for 30 + days, wearing flip flops for a minimum of3 hours daily. So disappointed there was no visible improvement. $$$ mistake.

brush-on treatment
not too sure how well this gets rid of nail fungus. The cream seems to be stronger and works better.

Is this Tineacide by Blaine Labs? Is this a Scam?
Is this a scam??? There is Tineacide by Blaine Labs, this does not appear to be it, and the active ingredient is not Tolnaftate. This may work, but the fact they are ripping off the name of a very effective treatment and using another ingredient, I am very suspicious.

This stuff works. I have used it several times and recommended it to others. Just be consistent with using it everyday and your nail will grow out healthy.
