Received ours on June 6, 2017 and now on July 3, 2017 the hose is broken beyond repair. The tube lining inside the durable cloth has broken/burst into several pieces and water just gushes out through the material about half way along the hose length. Water doesn't even make it to the nozzle to dribble out the end, just seeps out along the length of the hose. At first I was really pleased with the space saving features and non-kink, flexible nature of this hose. The nozzle was a nice bonus and I loved that the included hanger worked well and helped give my patio a cleaner appearance instead of having an old hose coiled up on the ground. However, the nozzle did not last very long because the screws that hold the black sprayer part to the metal body stripped the threading from the housing and sheared off last week. Into the garbage went the nozzle. Then today as I got ready to water some flowers, I closed the stop cock at the mouth of the hose and turned on the spigot half way. After a few seconds of waiting for the water pressure to expand the hose length so I could reach my plants, the whole hose gave a shudder and water started gushing out of the middle of the hose onto my feet. The rubber lining the interior of the hose had burst and the hose is now useless! Great idea, but poorly executed design.

I just got this hose last week and love it! AND it's got a Lifetime Warranty! This seems to be a high quality hose. It has brass fittings and comes with extra gaskets to prevent it from leaking. It has not leaked for me and it's good to know that if the gasket it comes with ever wears out I have replacements.:)The metal hook it comes with fits right over the faucet so you don't have to nail it to your siding. That's super nice and keeps the hose tidy.That little lever on the faucet is used to flip the water on and off while using the hose. It's easy to do with a flick of the thumb.There is also a knob on the brass fitting of the hose itself on the nozzle end to turn the water off.The water pressure on the hose is strong so when you put it on full blast it shoots out strong a good distance-enough to wash 2nd (or 3rd?) floor Windows. There is also a setting where you can turn it down to very little pressure if you are trying to water plants and don't want to blast them.I can't think of a single negative to say about this hose!

I bought this with great caution because people have complained that it breaks easily. But I decided to give it a try because it can be convenient. It was good for a couple of months and then broke into two pieces inside the green wrap. I used it with great care since reviewers mentioned that high pressure may cause it to break. I kept the water pressure normal and I had another similar hole of different brand which has been functional for months. Very disappointed at this product. It may work for some cases but I really think you shall be rethinking before buying this one.

The enclosed instructions were easy to understand and follow. The hose was easy to handle, use and store. At this writing, the item has been used once to attach to 2 lawn mower wash ports. Expansion was not required.Update June 28, 2016This item was selected after reading customer reviews and researching the Internet. It appeared to a better quality item. Reading the simple directions before using the hose will enhance your experience and protect your investment.We expect this hose to last a long time. It is made of quality parts. The Brass Connectors are much easier than our garden hose to connect/disconnect. The extra Leak-Proof Washers may be handy to have. The 9 Pattern Sprayer and Automatic Fire Nozzle have not yet been used. The Shutoff Valve works flawlessly and saves time and steps. There are no leaks!This was purchased to clean under mower decks that have wash ports; wash a front entrance door, porch and siding; and avoid using a larger hose for every job. After 2 months, it has performed extremely well without ANY problems. It has and will save time and effort whenever used.

I usually only leave feedback if I'm pleasantly surprised by a product or if I am greatly disappointed by a product. Well in this case it's the former rather than the latter. First off it was delivered in one day big thumbs up to Amazon fulfillment. Second, the packaging was great. The hose came in a reusable green bag and then inside a regular Ziploc style plastic bag on the inside of the green bag . I was impressed that 50 feet worth of hose was in such a small reusabe package. The only possible packaging issue was the hose holder. It's possible that it's sharp edges could potential he damage the latex of the hose. The edges should be covered with foam or rubber.A nice little slip of paper on the inside with some quick tips and extra rubber gaskets if needed. Nice touch. The slip suggested only hand tightening and to use the extra gaskets to double if necessary. That is exactly what I did. NO LEAKS!. Why all caps? Did you read the reviews of their competition?I liked the all brass connections and functional shut off valve. I was surprised by the multi-function sprayer. I remember the TV adds boasting and likening it to a firehose attachment. In the rural area I live in doesn't have great water pressure. That thing delivered more pressure and shot farther than any of my others.I followed the tips and left the sprayer open while turning off the water. Its heavier than the hose so I held it and watched happily as it retracted. Then easily curled up from the center to the fittings in order to allow any residual water drain out. Right back into the reusable drawstring bag.Btw, did you notice how competative the price on this bad boy is?
