Beautiful, but only casts warm colors at 35 lumen (Low Light).
A 5 for quality, but they need really low wattage lights. They are beautifully made, and very attractive with a Philips 7.5w (35 lumen) medium base Incandescent light bulb. (which is essentially a S11 nightlight with a standard base). The glass, however, is white frosted... and if you put a 25w, 40w or 60w equivalent incandescent in it (In LED Terms: 3w, 7.5w or 11w), the light is white rather than the warm glow you see depicted. The brighter lights change the character of the lamp. I wanted this for my office, but I only like the appearance with the 35lumen (7.5w) light. This would, however, be perfect for a bedroom if you put in the nightlights and got some of those AC/Remotes remote. A pair of these would look amazing with any decors on a pair of dressers or nightstands. If placed across the room would they would cast a nice romantic glow or allow you to fall asleep sleep while leaving a partner enough light to come to bed later without stubbing a toe. If you are considering a purchase, lookup "GE Lighting 41267 7.5-Watt Nightlight, Soft White, S11 1CD Light Bulb". That gives off about the light-equivalent of an old kerosene lantern.

Very large and wanted smaller. Size was properly listed but picture made look smaller. Larger than roll of paper towels. They accepted the return very well.
