SANOXY 2-in-1 USB Sync & Charge Adapter for iPod® Shuffle, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Generation

I bought this charger for my Shuffle 2.0 as a replacement for the original charger. Upon first plugging it in to my Mac, I got an error message saying that it pulled too much power and therefore the computer was shutting down the USB port, however, I unplugged and plugged it in again, to find that it was working perfectly. It charges the shuffle and updates it with new music just like the original charger. Occasionally this problem repeats, but it's solved quickly just by the unplugging/replugging. Since I travel a lot, I have to say that the inconvenience of this minor issue is far outweighed by the tiny size and portability. I wish Apple had made their chargers like this! It came in a small envelope and shipping was fairly fast (4-5 days).

I love this charger, I wasn't going to get my hopes up if it didn't work due to the price, but I really love this. My shuffle hasn't been used in a year now because I broke the charger that came with it and I was holding on to it because I knew I could find a cheaper charger the $30 and it was my first iPod and didn't want to get rid of it. Right when I got it I plugged it in and it started charging and about 1-2 hours later it's charged and working great. This is a must buy for people who don't want to pay $30 for a charger when the iPod doesn't have much trade-in value anymore, and for people who don't want to give up a cute, little iPod that is still in good condition. Overall I love that I'm able to use my old iPod now as a back-up for when my other one is charging, I love the price I paid, and I really love that there is no cord to mess with. Once again must buy!

The product works well and fits onto a key chain for easy finding. That being said I would have given the product 5 our of 5. However when I received this otherwise great and on time product I was taken back that in the contents of the order sheet paper work was a remark to go back online and at least give them a 4 our of 5 stars or 5 out of five stars. Was I reading this right? I am requested to do this and that if I didnt there rating would be lowered overall. So I will give them and continue to give them a 3 our of 5 stars untill they stop telling there customers what to do and how they are so good everone needs to do exactly what they say. Just another American consumer remembering when the customer was always right.

Based on the reviews, I bought two of these for my old 2nd gen iPod shuffle, just in case one didn't work. Both work which is good news. Small details to note: it didn't pull up iTunes automatically when I plugged it into my Mac laptop like my current iPod will, but once I opened the program manually, it slowly came around. I was able to sync and charge after a minute or two. I've noticed it will only work with a computer to charge from though. It wouldn't charge with my iPod wall charger. It's also sensitive. You bump it, it's gonna stop charging. But for the price, you can't argue, especially since Apple made the charger for the newer shuffle generations incompatible with the 2nd gen. (Which is dumb since they charge the same way through the headphone jack!)

Even tho it had some bad reviews and I even saw 1 or 2 people mention it fried their Ipod I decided since it was so few who said that to at least try it I figured if it didnt work than I'm only out just under $2.. Well I regret taking the risk because tho it 1st it wouldn't do anything at all than Finally after trying over and over to get it to charge my Ipod it did finally give it a charge but it still wouldn't sync with either of my 2 computers. Once it read a full charge 1st I noticed my earphones jack messed up so it makes one side of head phones sound waaayy lower than the other and yes I confirmed the headphones work fine and than I realised it pretty much fried my Ipod because after just a few minutes of listening to it My Ipod now shuts off and blinks red even tho it says it's fully charged and I have to shut it off wait several seconds and turn it back on only for it to repeat the playing for a minute or 2 than again shutting off and blinking red again. SO now I'm not just out the $1.77 but I'm out the 50$ for the Ipod as well.. So please don't risk buying one of these it's just not worth the risk. Especially if you're like me and cannot replace your Ipod easily if at all.

I don't want to give this a bad rating, because I bought it for a use for which it wasn't intended.I have a 3rd generation Shuffle, and a 4th generation Shuffle, and one sync cable between them. Before spending $20 (almost half the cost of a new Shuffle!) on an authorized replacement, I decided I'd give this inexpensive one a try. The connections appear to be the same, after all.So for anyone who's tempted like I was:It didn't work.

I think this product works fine for the price I paid. I have to fiddle with it to make it charge and sync my shuffle. I'm not upset with this product but any potential buyer reading this review must understand that when you pay $2 bucks for something and that price includes shipping the product is not going to be of the same caliber as the charger/dock from Apple. I didn't expect it to be so I'm satisfied.

I purchased this becuase my dog ate my original little charger unit that came with my 2nd generation iPod. I was very hesitant to try this but figured for the cost it was worth a try. It shipped out very quickly and I received this within a day or two of placing my order. It was packaged really well inside a bubble wrapped envelope. It fit snuggly into the connection point of the iPod and securely into the computer. It takes a little longer for the computer to recognize that the device is attached than with the original device from Apple. But when it did, I was able to transfer exisitng music from my iPod, transfer newly downloaded music and recharge the unit. It is definitely worth the money!

Cord does not work for iPod shuffle 1st gen

Wrong cable (tiny usb-ipod without the cable) and doesn't work.

It was delivered on time, but didn't work making it useless. i tried with two devices but it did not work with either of them. I never bothered returning it or complaining about it... and it was too long ago. I am okay with that.
