This five-pack will fit youth 8 years up to the elderly and enable activities like eating, grooming, playing instruments, tools, and sports. From the smallest yellow EZ which will allow fingertip control of small objects like pens and combs, to adapting eating utensils and even larger objects like electric toothbrushes and tennis rackets. Use on toilet paper wands, and sanitary items. It can be cleaned with wipes, For activities that require a repetitive motion our silicone cuffs provide the comfortable, secure grip necessary to support the hand or limb and enable more independence at home, work or play.

Review: I purchased these for my husband’s grandmother who has RA really bad in her ha dad and just has the hardest time holding anything, never mind thin items like forks. She’s very proud and doesn’t like attention, or to look ‘weak’ or like she needs help. (She in her 90s, refuses a cane even though she clearly needs one because they’re for old people!) I had her try one of these cuffs on her fork at a family dinner, and she was able to eat easily and without making a giant mess for the first time in probably years. She said “look! It holds the fork!” It worked like a charm, and since it is pretty small and unobtrusive, she didn’t feel like everyone was staring at her and her special equipment. The only downside (for her) is that she isn’t able to get the cuffs on and off her utensils independently. She doesn’t have the dexterity for that. But once the cuff is on the utensil, she can get it on and off her hand easily.

**Q: has anyone used these for painting or drawing?  I have essential tremors and my husband has Parkinson's and it is time to look for useful aids**
A: I use these with my students for both painting, drawing, and writing. they will fit crayons, paintbrushes, paint daubers, markers, pencils and pens and styluses.

**Q: Would this be a good tool to help a child with missing fingers to hold items?**
A: My son has difficulty maintaining a grasp, which is why we purchased. I'm thinking that this could help your child though. The silicone handle can fit up over the palm and may help. The only flaw is that these handles are all different sizes and my guess is you would need to use one that is pretty snug so it wouldn't fall off. Its nice to have the variety until you know what size you need, but then would be nice to purchase just what you need.

The sizes are a little weird. Only one of them really fits on most kids when using this in occupational therapy. So I would need to buy five more sets just to get that one that fits for each kid. A little more pricey than I would like. The kids absolutely love it though. It allows kids with disabilities to have more independence without looking like they are using unusual medical equipment in school. Idk, I'm on the fence with these.
