I bought this book used from Amazon for less than $5, and I took it to work with me and had a co-worker help me translate everything into Spanish and I wrote it in sharpie underneath the English words. This is what my son brings me when I say pick out a book. He absolutely loves it. Though it's now in 3 different parts/pieces (books are not meant to be stomped on and rolled on and folded over), we look at it almost every day. We look at the pictures and I ask him to find something and he points to it and then we say it together in English and in Spanish. He has his favorite pages of course, but he can identify almost everything in the book, in both English and Spanish. I plan on buying this book again, along with it's friends "First 100 Animals" and the others. It's big and sturdy and the pages are easy for little hands to turn. The pictures are bright and colorful and close up. One of the best things about this book is that the pictures are real items, not drawings of things. With other books of similar type, I see my son trying to figure out the difference between a drawing of an item and a picture of the same item, and I think that the pictures create a clearer more realistic 'definition' in his mind. I would buy this book again and again.
