Product Description In the tradition of National Lampoon's Animal House and National Lampoon's Van Wilder comes this wildly hilarious comedy about a guy who wants to date a girl who wants to wait. Adam (Cameron Douglas) is a typical college-aged guy, which is to say he wants sex 24 hours a day. But when he meets, and falls for, Eve (Emmanuelle Chriqui) a scorchingly hot co-ed who's still very attached to her virginity, the waiting game is on! While his college buddies score right and left, and campus hotties make tempting passes, Adam ponders an explosive question: Will Eve say "it's the right time," before he goes completely out of his mind? desertcart.com Adam and Eve has an interesting premise with a lot of potential as a thoughtful, adult movie. Disheveled musician and college student Adam (Cameron Douglas, son of Michael Douglas) goes out of his way to meet the beautiful Eve (Emmanuelle Chriqui) on campus. In no time, the two are in love. Everything goes swimmingly except in the bedroom, where Eve asserts her right to remain a virgin until she's ready. Adam--though deferential--takes her requirement personally and demands to know what "ready" means. The pair go on like this for months, with Adam remaining true to his passion for Eve, despite howls of protest from his degenerate housemates (among them Jake Hoffman, son of Dustin Hoffman). Eve takes flak, too, from some of her own roomies, yet for awhile it appears Adam and Eve's story will include other young women inspired by Eve's insistence on respect behind closed doors. Unfortunately, writer-director Jeff Kanew (Revenge of the Nerds) elects not to go down that path and nearly derails the movie with inconsequential gross-out scenes at Adam's house. But the material dedicated to Adam and Eve's challenging relationship is discerning. --Tom Keogh Review: good movie finally on dvd - been looking for a dvd copy of this movie for ever!!! thank you Review: Such a Great Movie - I had really wanted to see this movie and it was worth the wait. Great "Guy" humor
Adam and Eve proved that "guy" humor at its funniest, is best served raunchy. I thought Adam's character was believable and well acted, although I doubt Cameron Douglas has had much experience with "blue balls." Eve's character was beautiful, intelligent and evoked my respect. The actress has a great ass and great assets as an actress. I thought the script was sincere, very funny and relevant. Adam and Eve treats a woman's "right to choose" to be a virgin in college (oh my God, imagine that!) with respect and a raunchy dose of humor.

Doesn't play after a scratch you can’t see
After 5 minutes plain, there’s a scratch on the DVD, which you cannot see which makes it glitched about 15 minutes in. Once you rewind it glitches again and then you lose what you where relying to watch.

The high concept cover is quite misleading - it's clearly designed to look like better National Lampoon comedies of the past e.g. Vacation and the more recent Van Wilder. This is a cheap cash-in and a good example why people complain about the modern Lampoon movies. Also it's not really a gross-out comedy - it's relatively tame and the proper genre is probably romance. So too tame for the gross-out crowd and too serious to be a romantic comedy - this is a film that doesn't really have an audience, which is just as well.
