I use this to secure aluminet shading cloth on my car at outdoor dog trials. They are strong with no risk of sliding off in powerful winds and I haven't noticed any scratching of my car when removing them. I have used this product several times now over this past summer.However I was very put off by the "customer service" of Kelley General. I received 4 emails in 10 days asking me to review their product the first before the product was even delivered, and all before I had time to thoroughly test them out to see how they hold up. The last email had a misleading subject line implying a "FREE BONUS" with no mention of any such thing in the actual email. I have contacted the company with my perceptions of the email blasting and hopefully they have changed tactics such then.

Very disappointed. I only bought these because they claim to hold 20 lbs, but they can't even hold over ONE pound (not exaggerating, I have a scale that weighs to the half ounce) . You have to be very careful to hang even kitchen utensils because it slides so easy (even with the plastic backing off, despite what Kelly Generals constant e-mails talk about to you once you purchase from them). The rougher the surface, the less the magnets slide and the more weight you can add. I just don't have any available metal surfaces. I may keep them and use them to hang small things like ornaments.

I love these magnets, obviously, this is the fourth set I have purchased. I have them in my kitchen, under my stainless steel counters. On my small prep table I hung my 2 sets of 18 ga measuring spoons on one hook, a small, medium and large copper mixing bowl on one each of these hooks. I have strainers, pot holders, lids and metal measuring cups on these hooks, as well. So far, I have seen no damage from the metal but I also do not slide these. To move or remove these, I tip it by pushing on the hook until it pops off. I did remove the vinyl backing from the magnets, thus increasing their hold level. Even with the vinyl backing, the magnet was strong enough to hold measuring cups. This is now my favorite brand and I will only buy these from this seller.

I would give 5 stars, but one magnet broke when it fell from my car to the pavement below. The customer service, though, deserves 10 stars! They replaced the broken magnet almost immediately.I bought these to hold a mesh shade cloth onto my car, and they did hold the cloth on, even in a breeze. I bought two 3 packs, and they hold securely. The magnet that fell came off when we were removing the shade cloth. They are strong, but not vise grip strong.I would recommend these magnets.

My wife had bought a large 2017 calendar that was sliding down the side of the refrigerator with our existing magnet clip/hook. We bought new magnet clips at Bed Bath & Beyond and the Container Store and nothing would hold it, so I went on to Amazon looking for a magnet hook with a large magnet surface area and found these from Kelley. They were advertised to hold up to 20 lbs. They arrived in 2 days, packaged nicely and do exactly as advertised, the calendar hasn’t move a millimeter since putting it on the Kelley Magnetic Hook. We are very pleased.

We love these magnets! We received them quickly, and there every bit as strong as was advertised. I highly recommend the company, and their product.

I LOVE the Kelly General Magnetic. I have two on my refrigerator. One to hold my calendar & one to hold my keys so it’s easier to grab. I gave one to my sister because it was so sturdy and made no marks on my Stainless Steele Refrigerator. I told her to buy this brand if she needed more!Thank you for an awesome product!

Best magnetic hook! Held hats and heavy purses in our cabin. Definitely a necessity. Other magnetic clips did not hold up. These hooks are strong enough to now be in garage for multiple uses.
