Handy Camel Red Bag Clip for Pet Food Storage

This is a genius idea. But unfortunately they do not make a large enough size to fit large bags like 40+ lb dog food bags. Instead they tell you to fold the sides of the bag inward to fit the clip which is too small. I almost did not buy this product because of this and I am sure they are losing a lot of business because of this mistake. Large bags of dog food are made of a heavy metallic coated plastic that is difficult to fold over and it is very awkward to get this clamp on the top. If they were smart the manufacture would make a larger version that is say 3 or 4 inches wider. I suspect they do not make the wider version because they would have to beef up the plastic to withstand the clamping effectiveness over the wider distance. I would be willing to pay the extra $ for a clamp that fit my bags properly.

Amazing invention! When we rescued a dog this summer, I looked all over for a bin to hold her food in. But, none of the ones that were large enough to hold a 25 lb bag's worth would fit the dimensions of our linen closet near the food bowls, and they were also pricey. I'm glad that we found this contraption on Amazon! It works great and doubles as a handle, if I need to move her food bag somewhere.

It actually works!! Substantial clip that grips feed bags and can carry their weight. I like that it is strong enough that I don't have to straighten out the bag before clipping it closed. It can handle closing wrinkled up layers.

The bag clip is very sturdy. We use it to keep cat food protected from bugs and mice. We might have been able to go with a smaller clip for a 10-lb cat food bag. The clip is easy to open, even though we have some osteoporosis-arthritis in our hands and fingers..

Absolutely essential in moving heavy bags of anything. Securely closes it so that it can't be easily dumped. Super easy to carry with the clip handle. Wish we had these all the years we had dairy goats, ponies, etc! It would have made life much easier!

I bought it because it was big enough to close a 20-lb. bag of cat litter so that it wouldn't spill. I didn't really expect to be able to lift and carry the cat litter bag with this clip, but I definitely can! It does not slip at all.

These are unbelievable! Hadn't even realized there was such a product. Sooo much easier handling a big sack of birdseed. Keeps it securely closed while I'm struggling to carry it back into the house.
