A good album and an improvement over the last one.
I like this album more with every listen. Crisis in Utopia was great but Ride the Void was a big disappointment to me. Mostly due to the production where Luna's voice was pushed to the background and the bass was too prominent. With this one they get back to Luna and the shredding guitars. And Luna sounds great. There are no bad songs here. I just wish there was a bit more variety like on Utopia.

HOLY GRAIL once again deliver a great piece of heavy metal! "Times of Pride and Peril" could very well be their masterpiece. From the opening track "Crystal King" to the closing epic "Black Lotus", HOLY GRAIL's music is hard and heavy without compromising great melodic hooks. With their twin guitar harmonies, Eli Santana and Alex Lee are this generations K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton. They are one of the few current bands on the metal scene that can skillfully craft traditional classic metal with touches of modern metal that make their music always seem fresh and contemporary. If you like holy grail last 2 albums you will love this album its fantastic. Great old school metal mixed with thrash with a little death metal.There awesome live too. Buy this album and go see them!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Holy man! Put this disc in my basement stereo and cranked it up loud, old lady next store thought it was Iron Maiden! This band is great, get this cd for your metal collection now.

This album is so good. I've had it on CD for awhile, but thinking about picking up the vinyl as well.

One of the few power metal bands worth listening....keep it up boys. Great 3-album catalog so far. Super tight, amazing musicianship.

One of the best new bands to come out in a long time
One of the best new bands to come out in a long time. I first discovered these guys opening for Exodus two years ago and they blew me away.Since then I rushed out and bought the first two Cd's, and was eagerly awaiting this one. Incredible songs. Just awesome.They have their own sound, and are one of the hardest working bands. Get it!
