Follow Leon S. Kennedy on a high-stakes mission to rescue the President’s daughter, facing smarter foes and intense action in a gripping, cinematic experience. ## Description In Resident Evil 4 you'll know a new type of horror, as the classic survival-horror action returns with all-new characters, controls and storylines. We last saw Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 2 - a rookie cop in Raccoon City, fighting to stay alive. That was six years ago. Since then, government forces have managed to control the zombie threat and Leon has become a Federal agent. When the President's daughter is kidnapped, Leon tracks her to a remote, hidden fortress in Europe - where he'll relive the horror he faced six years before. Players will face never-before-seen enemies that make Nemesis seem like a kitten. You'll be wishing for the usual Resident Evil zombies! ## Features - Advanced AI makes enemies smarter than ever and use their cunning in deadly attacks - Use the Action button for better player control - New 'Aim and Shoot' targeting for zeroing in on enemies with your weapons - Behind the camera view for intuitive movement - Conversations and monologues can be heard in real time ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000B69E9G | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,572 in Videogames ( See Top 100 in Videogames ) #143 in PlayStation 2 Games | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,236) | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item model number | 013388260560 | | Language | English | | Product Dimensions | 19.05 x 13.97 x 1.91 cm; 68.04 g | | Release date | 25 October 2005 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Capcom - **Format:** CD-ROM - **Genre:** shooter-action-game-genre - **Hardware platform:** playstation_2 - **Operating system:** playstation_2 ## Images ![Capcom Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Yxs42q4WL.jpg) ![Capcom Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JSXGhUzqL.jpg) ![Capcom Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41G6yF7H8yL.jpg) ![Capcom Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Jt2W9exAL.jpg) ![Capcom Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CfpNj4n4L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this just like the GameCube resident evil 4?** A: Yes. Except the PS2 version hads a bonus campaign of Ada Wong called Separate Ways telling the story of what she was doing during the events of Leons Journey. **Q: How many MB do I need to play resident evil 4?** A: If you have the actual PS2 game for PS2 I believe it should play automatic as mine did. However a download of the game for a newer console such as PS3 or PS4 would probably require memory to play. If you want to save your game progress you would need a memory card that is inserted into a card slot above a game controller slot. I hope this is helpful. **Q: Can two people play** A: It's a one player game **Q: Is this a reproduction?** A: Really depends who you buy it from, but mine was a used copy. If in doubt, check the paper dust jacket under the plastic. Cheap paper = likely reproduction. Poster style paper = likely legit. ## Frequently Bought Together - Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2 - Suncala 256MB Memory Card for PlayStation 2, High Speed Memory Card for Sony PS2-1 Pack - Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Greatest Hits - PlayStation 2 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/261489463-capcom-resident-evil-4-playstation-2](https://www.desertcart.be/products/261489463-capcom-resident-evil-4-playstation-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
