Just opened the package of 3 cases that I purchased and wow this is not what I expected. This was purchased to be decorated and then given as a gift. The product description says "Premium Clear Hard Plastic". Only the inside of the case is clear, the outside is actually frosted. As far as "premium...plastic", I seriously doubt it, but I'm no plastic expert. The description also says * Full protection from scratch, dust and impacts". It has no screen shield of any kind on the front, so how it can be "full protection" I do not know. As a side note, the box claims "scratch-resistant face shield". And because this was to be a gift and I don't have the phone that was to go in it, I am not sure of how it's going to fit or how well the case will hold together, whether dropped or not. Holding the empty case about 12 inches above and dropping onto my dining room table, the case separates. Once a phone is inside it will probably hold together better. It also says "Snap-on case". Well it does slide together, but I can easily undo the "snap" with one pull of my pinky. A few other observations: the product description says "Heavy duty Hardshell Plastic to ensure the long life of your iPhone" and the box it came in says "Lightweight hardshell plastic construction" In summation to the product vs product description: I needed clear-not frosted and I needed full protection-front too, not just a back cover. I can say on a positive note that the products arrived very quickly.Update**The case does fit very securely on the phone.

Its a nice case. But the description says that it fits the iPhone 2g, 3g,3gs, well, it doesn't fit the 2g which is the reason why I bought the case. it would be a 5 star if they accurately advertised the case saying its not for the 2g. I am sure you could modify the case which is what I am trying to do. If you are getting this for the 2g, don't get it. Don't be tricked or fooled.

Exactly what I ordered!
So, I was looking for a basic clear case for my old iPhone 3gs, and mostly something that completely cased it, becahse my phone was splitting on the side. This worked perfectly! Its not something like lifeproof, but I dont tend to be rough with my products.Would order again if i needed a cheap, but nice looking case!
