I bought these to see if they would be useful in a work situation. I like the fact that each cube has a separate lid and that each cube can be separated from the main group. However the snap latches didn't hold up to repeated usage. If a large block of the cubes were accidentally dropped the attaching points would break. On several occasions while assembling the individual cubes into a block of 5 X 10 units the attaching would break.

Item works as expected, meant to hold small SMT based components. It will save you hours of time digging through ESD bags. The real plus it that we ran our latest batch of boards, with not one ESD related failure - something that wouldn't be possible in the past. The only negative is that the latches that hold the spring loaded doors are a bit light, and have occasionally sprung open when a neighboring door was opened. Other than that, love the modularity, as these can be reconfigured to any manufacturing sequence you desire, quickly. Well worth the investment!

One compartment latch broke immediately upon use. Kind of inconvenient to get components into/out of. I like the fact that these can be clipped together as required. Reasonable case for electronic components subject to ESD, but you'll need tweezers to get anything out, unless you have a child's fingers-- compartments are very small.

This was a great addition to our small parts storage capacity because you can add and subtract compartments as needed.
