Hatch Chile Pesto/Lemon Artichoke Pesto by The Gracious Gourmet, 7 ounce (pack of 2)

I didn’t realize until after I already opened one jar that I received two jars of the lemon artichoke pesto not one jar of it and a jar of the hatch chile pesto. I did want to try the hatch chile pesto so I’m a little disappointed, but the lemon artichoke is pretty good. I think it would well as a sauce on a pizza or in pasta. I tried it on white rice so I could really taste the flavor of the pesto. Not sure I would buy again, but tastes pretty good.

I bought this for my parents because they have no need for stuff, but love to enjoy good food. The products are delicious and have fairly healthful ingredients. Not a lot of fat or salt. It's easy to add to pasta and a lot of other dishes, or just eat out of the jar with bread and wine. My mom and dad loved it and I'll send it again.

It's so delicious, I'm now ordering a 76 oz jug because this will be a staple in everyday-cooking (can't wait to use it as a base layer for homemade pizzas & tostados too, but this is already my go-to condiment for a LOT of stuff).I haven't yet tried the Lemon Artichoke Pesto, but I'm confident that it will be pretty amazing as well. Maybe as an accompaniment to an Asian dish?My first foray was to stir a few tablespoons (3-5?) into three cups of cooked Texmati rice (white Basmati) & add one envelope of the Safcol Light Tuna with Oven Dried Tomato & Basil in Spring Water ... wow, such a simple & tasty meal on its own or a great side dish w/ a salad & steamed veggies, whatever.

The lemon artichoke pesto is amazing! I was worried that the lemon flavor would overpower the artichoke but it didn't. This pesto spreads on like a hummus. I ate the lemon artichoke pesto on top of an everything bagel, topped with a fresh avocado & also as a dip for veggies such as baby carrots, cucumbers & sweet peppers. Very yummy & almost went through half the jar in one day!My other flavor I got in this duo set was the portobello mushroom tapenade. If your a mushroom fan like me, you will definitely appreciate the chopped up mushrooms. I used this tapenade on a toasted French baguette & it was very tasty. It also paired nice with a veggie omelet. I'm eager to try different flavors offered byThe Gracious Gourmet.

Very Good, But A Little Costly For The Jar Size

So delicious! I tasted these at a wine tasting and was so happy to hear they sell the line on Amazon! The hatch chile is my favorite

Both were eat out of the jar with a spoon by itself good!
