A must-read if you're self-representing!
After having a lawyer for 6 months in a civil case, I could no longer afford it and decided to represent myself. I ordered this book and read it cover-to-cover multiple times. I used it as I prepared my case for bench trial, and it was an incredible source of information and guidance. On the day of the trial, I felt confident representing myself and did so. To make things even better - I won my case with NO lawyer, versus a very skilled lawyer. If you're looking to represent yourself, read this book! I can't guarantee you'll win, but it'll make you a stronger representative for sure!

I would give it six stars if I could
This book is exactly what I needed when things started to go downhill and I found myself in a legal quagmire. While I did not end up representing myself, having read this book prepared me for the questions that I needed to answer and ask.

A step
by step guide from start to finish on how to represent yourself in a court of law. This book is a good guide, and holds some tips that are beneficial to any self-represented person. The Queen's Court is not a "play pen" and QEII justices often forget her Coronation Oath concerning "justice".This book is definitely helpful. I do recommend it for anyone who cannot afford a lawyer or get legal aid.
